Dr Michelle Schiewe PT, DPT

Founder & CEO

My path into physical therapy has always been rooted in a desire to serve others and strengthen the community that shaped me. As a second-generation North County local, I grew up surrounded by a strong sense of connection and giving back—values that were reinforced through early volunteer and fundraising efforts for Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, as well as the discipline and teamwork I gained through years of competitive sports.

I began my academic journey at Sonoma State University, where earning a degree in Kinesiology sparked a deep interest in human development and movement. Studying anatomy, physiology, and child development gave me a strong foundation and ultimately led me to pursue my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine. That training allowed me to build a clinical approach that supports both pediatric growth and adult recovery, with a focus on helping individuals return to meaningful daily activities.

Today, I’m grateful to work with patients across the lifespan, but I’m especially passionate about caring for children, new mothers, and families. Whether guiding parents through early milestones like tummy time, supporting children with developmental delays, or helping families navigate more complex diagnoses, I strive to provide care that feels personal, encouraging, and empowering. It’s a privilege to be part of each family’s story and to help them move forward with confidence.
